In September of 2009, Ken Dowe, a native of Greenville MS now residing in Dallas, Texas, CHALLENGED the residents of Greenville to clean up, fix up and keep up the appearance of our once beautiful city. He offered to donate $50,000 if the citizens of Greenville would match his offer. By December 2009, not only did we match his offer, we surpassed it!
As of September, 2010, 245 donors have contributed $62,945!
So NOW with money in the bank, it is time for us to CLEAN UP, FIX UP, and KEEP UP the appearance of Greenville! |
